Ed was born in western Pennsylvania and spent most of his childhood in eastern Ohio.  His family moved to California in the mid 60’s so that he could attend college.  He graduated in 1971 from Cal Poly Pomona with a degree in Mechanical Engineering, which he utilized during the 18 years that he worked for General Dynamics. 

Ed married Doris in 1970, his 8^th grade childhood sweetheart.  Together they have been blessed with two married daughters and six grandchildren. 

Ed has been in full time ministry since 1990, serving as the Executive Pastor at Community Baptist Church in Alta Loma for 11 years prior to joining the staff of the Conservative Baptist Association as Director of Administration. 

His passion in ministry is to see new churches being planted, to coach pastors and church leaders, and to see the churches’ potential unleashed through leadership development.
