Small Group Bible Study
With school starting again this fall, some may be interested in a new Bible Study focusing on those who have children in public education. Pastor Hal Seed, from New Song Community Church in Oceanside, along with Dan Geider, has published an excellent devotional book entitled, “The God Questions.” It covers a series of apologetic questions like: “Why does a good God allow suffering?”; “What really happens when I die?” or, “Do all roads (and all religions) lead to You?”; “Was Jesus really your son?”; “Is the Bible true and can I trust what it says?”; “Is God Real?”; “Is the Bible True?”; and more. I have personally read the devotional guide and highly recommend it for a family devotional book or a church-wide Bible study.

Catholicism and the Bible
"Truth Encounter"
In July, 2001, Tony Pezzotta joined the staff of the Conservative Baptist Association of Southern California where he is currently serving as Director of Ethnic Ministries.  Tony was a former Roman Catholic priest who became a believer in Jesus Christ.  Tony's book about Catholicism and the Holy Scriptures, TRUTH ENCOUNTER, was first published in 1996 and then reprinted in 2000.  The Spanish Version, Encuentro Con La Verdad, was published in 2004 (sorry, the Spanish version is temporarily out of print - check back here to see when reprinted.)  Books are available upon request from the CB Southern California office for only $9 each, which includes shipping and handling in the US.
